Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: Are your properties pet-friendly?

A:Transpacific Asset Management welcomes service animals in all of our properties. Please note the “Pets with Approval” column of our rental list for detailed information on whether other pets are allowed and if so, what specifications apply.

  • Q: Can I hold the Property before I put in my application or while I go to see the Property?

A:We cannot hold a property until we have all completed applications, application fees and until the interior has been viewed. Upon receipt of the $100.00 Holding Deposit we can hold your application in first position.

  • Q: Do I need to pay first and last month’s rent to move in?

A:No, You pay the Security Deposit and the Pro-Rated rent, minus the $100.00 Holding Deposit you pay when you turn in your application.

  • Q: Do you have any furnished summer rentals?

A:Transpacific Asset Management at this time does not offer any summer rentals.

  • Q: How long can I hold the property after I pay the $100 Holding Deposit?

A:We can hold the property in your name for about two weeks from the date that you submit your application.

  • Q: I read on your website that all properties must be viewed before an application is accepted. I’m moving to Phoenix Area but am not yet in town, can I have a friend look at the property for me?

A:We would allow that, however we highly recommend having whoever views the property to take pictures for you so that there are no surprises when you move in.

  • Q: I’m looking for a nice two bedroom apartment, how many roommates can I have?

A:Arizona State Law limits rental properties to no more than two persons per bedroom.

  • Q: Is the Holding Deposit refundable?

A:If you choose to withdraw your application or for whatever reason you may be denied, your Holding Deposit is refundable.  However, if you have been accepted, and you agree to a move-in date, the Holding Deposit is put towards your move-in costs and is no longer refundable.  We call this Mutual Acceptance.

  • Q: What if I have a small child or a baby? Does he/she count as one more person?

A:Yes, no matter the age of the individual, they still count as a person.

  • Q: When I move out, how much of the Security Deposit is refundable and how long does it take to get back?

A:The Security Deposit is completely refundable as long as the property is returned to the condition in which you received it. Normally, it takes 14 business days to get the Security Deposit back to you.
